Dave is a session guitar player, songwriter, and live performer. He has managed several music stores in the Los Angeles area such as West LA Music on Santa Monica Boulevard in West LA and Alva's Music in San Pedro. He has consulted and worked for various guitar companies as well worked on the design process and also in manufacturing. He is a music teacher and guitar teacher and thought that YOU TUBE would be a good place to share his ideas, teach a few things. play some, interview others, and basically rant and rave like a lunatic, which he has does with little effort and zero shame. My comments went elsewhere. I love your tutorial on Dance With Me. I'll probably need to transpose to a C since my voice keeps Lowering as I age. I'll be back for other tutorials with you
A stab in the dark suggests it's all sort of based around the e minor harmonic scale especially as b aug / b7 9 and f# min flat 5 / d # anyway love the sense of movement in the progressions....always appreciate all the help that all the tutors lend ...
The main section goes in an out of harmonic minor to natural minor. Hence the D6 chord etc. On the chord I'm playing the B7, I believe Paul on the lower open acoustic chord is playing a B7b13 with just the notes F#, G, B, A.

@@DavesGuitarChannel Ah, thanks. It's not my business to tell you how to do your channel, but I have a friendly suggestion. Maybe you could edit (or redo, if needed) the vid in short pieces of music at a time, like one or two licks, before talking about what you're playing. They can't copyright guitar licks, though they probably can, an entire solo. Sure hope that's helpful. Thanks again for the chord lesson. It was really helpful. - Jstn
